Keep Out!
The “Indian Summer” should be considered a new season in San Luis Obispo. Is it Fall? Is it still Summer? We can’t tell, but we don’t mind. Warm weather, warm water, glassy conditions, and plenty of waves is just about all a Surfwanderer could ask for.
While we sit and watch the lines roll in, the northwest stays busy brewing up storms and pushing new ones towards us from 4,000 miles away. Another round please!

As the sun sets on the Summer season we look forward to what hopes to be a shred-filled Fall. Crisp mornings, off-shore winds, barrels, sunset sessions, & Thanksgiving dinners are just around the corner.
Surfwanderer will be rolling out a full lineup of photographers, surfers, stories, boards, bio’s, and showcases this season which will surely keep you stoked, so stay tuned!

Our staff photographer, Pismo and Shell Beach guru, Tim Schmidt has been shooting photos daily for nearly a year now. Many of you out in the water in South County SLO know him by now, and many of you have shared stoke because of the images he’s captured for you!
